One of the two main city of St.Croix USVI is Frederiksted , its history starting from 18 century settled by the Dutch. If you visit the island by cruise ship this sculpture of freedom will be right in front of pier,freed slave and skilled craftsman Moses Gottlieb led the uprising for emancipation of slaves in the mid 19 century.
